“IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19.
SADLY DUE TO THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS WE HAVE TAKEN THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO CANCEL THE 2020 WIRRAL COASTAL WALK.
We fully intend to run the walk again next year (2021). Please keep looking at this website for any updates.”
– Rotary Club of North Wirral, March 2020
Starting at the Seacombe Ferry terminal, walk 4, 10 or 15 miles around the Wirral Coast, taking in views of the Liverpool skyline across the Mersey and the North Welsh coast.
If you finish at the 15-mile point at Thursaston Country Park, Claire House will be there to welcome our walkers with a drink, snack and hug and you’ll get your certificate on the finish line!
This is a great event for the whole family to take part in, and there are buses taking people from the finish line at Thursaston back to the start line at Seacombe once you’ve finished.
You can either register online at www.wirralcoastalwalk.org or sign up on the day at the start line – it is £5 per adult and £1 per child aged 10 and under. Whichever way to register, please complete the form below and let us know that you’d like to walk for Claire House – we will send you a Fundraising Pack and t-shirts for all walkers. There is no minimum fundraising amount; simply raise whatever you can for your local children’s hospice!
