Schools and Colleges

We have amazing support from our local schools – so we want to support our local schools too! We have loads of free resources for schools and young people to download and we can visit your school to talk about the hospice, careers, volunteering and more!

Secondary Schools and Colleges

Thinking about the future? Why not take a look at some of the careers we have at Claire House by using our ‘I can be anything’ project?

Or if you are looking to make your CV or application to Uni stand out, why not take part in one of our Claire House Hero Awards? Find out more here.

Assemblies and Workshops

We would be delighted to visit your school for an assembly or workshop to tell you more about Claire House and what we do for local children and families.

Our assemblies and workshops are focused on the bright side of Claire House and are always age appropriate. We would love to come and see you all.

Assemblies

We can tailor assemblies to all ages! Whether it’s a visit from our mascot Claire Bear or chat about volunteering opportunities, we’ve got an assembly to suit your school.

Workshops

Our classroom-based workshops are interactive and can be anything from 20 – 45 minutes long. Learn about how Claire House started, take part in an empathy themed activity and practice some Makaton, which we use in the hospice.

All our assemblies and workshops are free!
