We are looking for volunteers who can use their organising and numeracy skills to support our Finance team with counting and recording our cash donations. This role would require working as a pair with another finance volunteer, making this a sociable role, where you can have a chat and a cup of tea, while counting through donations.

This role includes using specialised counting equipment, counting cash donations from buckets, tins, and recording information of total amounts. Its a hugely important role, by making sure correct donation totals are recorded means that our supporters receive the correct Thank you from Claire House.
As mentioned above, Volunteers would be required to work in teams of 2, and would have access to a covid safe space for counting. This role is based at our Fundraising building, on the Wirral site, Bebington.

Main tasks

  • Counting and recording cash donations.
  • Working as part of a pair, with another volunteer counter.
  • Saving and passing this information to our finance assistant at the end of each session.
