FULL TIME OPPORTUNITIES – PLANNED CARE (COMMUNITY)
We are searching for an exceptional Health Care Support Worker OR an Assistant Practitioner who is passionate and experienced in caring for children and young people and take pride in their role. Claire House is a unique working environment; it stretches a person in many ways. We are looking for individuals who, at their core, are kind, proactive and take the positives from any given situation.
The Planned Care Service is a relatively new development where care is delivered within the community setting either at home or through day therapy in Claire House Wirral and Liverpool. We feel this is an exciting opportunity to help shape future services to ensure choice in place of care is provided to meet the individual needs of families.
We recognise that working for a Children’s hospice is very different to that of the NHS and sometimes applicants are not sure which role best suits their experience. We hold Claire House values central to our recruitment process. Therefore, shortlisted candidates are invited to spend the day at Claire House. This day consists of; having a tour of the hospice, spending time with a mixture of professionals within the Hospice to Home team to find out more about the roles, having time to ask questions in a more relaxed environment. There are also short interviews, for which, each candidate will have time to consider the questions and reflect on their experiences to support their answers.
We offer additional payment for working regular weekends. You can also continue with your NHS superannuation scheme or join the Claire House pension scheme.
