Salary £29,600 - £35,100

We are searching for extra special Senior Nurses, who have experience, passion and pride when caring for children and young people. A hospice is a unique working environment; it stretches a person in many ways. We are looking for individuals who, at their core, are kind, proactive and take the positives from any given situation.

We recognise that working in a Children’s hospice is very different to that of the NHS and sometimes applicants are not sure which role best suits their experience. We hold Claire House values central to our recruitment process. Therefore, shortlisted candidates are invited to spend the day at Claire House. This day consists of; having a tour of the hospice, spending time with a mix of hospice nurses and senior nurses to find out more about the roles, having time to ask questions in a more relaxed environment. There are also short interviews, for which, each candidate will have time to consider the questions and reflect on their experiences to support their answers.

We offer additional payment for working regular weekends and nights. You can also continue with your NHS superannuation scheme or join the Claire House pension scheme.
