As a Volunteer Hospice Driver, you’ll support both our care team and families, by helping to transport children and young people between the Hospice and their family home for planned respite and activities. It’s the perfect role if you enjoy helping others and would like to see first-hand the difference your contribution makes to our charity.
To do this role, you’ll need a full UK driving licence (proof required) and to be over 21 years old and under 70 years old. Before commencing the role, you will undertake a MiDAS Training Course (covered by Claire House). Volunteers will be supported by a member of staff at all times.
