Claire House helps seriously and terminally ill babies, children and young adults make the most of the time they have. By providing specialist nursing and end of life care, as well as emotional support, the organisation helps families through some of the toughest times of their lives.
We have two sites, a full hospice in the Wirral and a second site offering services including day care, complementary therapies and counselling, in West Derby, Liverpool. Claire House works across Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales.
Incredible people are at the centre of everything we do. It is its people who make the greatest difference, in life and in death, to the families that Claire House exists to support. Attracting, valuing, retaining, and developing them, is how the organisation ensures it has an incredible workforce, now and for the future.
Rightly proud of the recognition, David Pastor, Chief Executive Officer at Claire House, said: “These brilliant results reflect what makes Claire House so special; a place where staff feel valued, supported, and inspired to make a difference every single day.
“From our nurses and counsellors to our fundraisers, volunteers and support teams, everyone plays a part in creating a culture that celebrates compassion, teamwork, and fun.”
