Remembering Ellie

Today, on the 31st October, we are remembering Ellie Cook. Her family have chosen to Pay For a Day in her memory.

This Pay For a Day, for Ellie’s 22nd birthday, has been paid for with the proceeds from the 2024 Claire House Club Challenge, a fishing challenge contest set up by Ellie’s dad, Colin.

The challenge continues to have amazing support from all the anglers who have been involved with it over the years since it began in 2012. Last year’s fundraising has already started with £2,790 being raised by a sponsored walk from 4 anglers raising awareness of the amazing work Claire House does. Last years fundraising raised £16,410 taking the total amount to date to £164,517.00 and to know that people continue to support us in Ellie’s name is very special.

Colin, Linda & Mia would like to thank every single person who has supported the Challenge and helped to make it such a success since it began in 2012.
