Join the Claire House team in the 2027 Tokyo Marathon!

The Tokyo Marathon is one of the world’s most iconic races and a World Marathon Major, attracting runners from across the globe. The course offers a unique opportunity to experience Tokyo’s past, present and future as you run through its vibrant streets and famous districts.

The race starts in Shinjuku, surrounded by towering skyscrapers, before taking you through areas such as Akihabara, Asakusa, Nihonbashi and Ginza. You’ll pass historic temples, modern landmarks and enjoy incredible crowd support along the way, finishing in the heart of the city near Tokyo Station. The course is known for being largely flat and fast, making it suitable for both first‑time marathon runners and those chasing a personal best.

How to enter? There are two ways to run for Claire House:

Secure a Claire House charity place – simply click the below link to let us know that you would like a Claire House place and run for FREE if you pledge to raise £4000 in sponsorship. 

Get your own place  – complete the form below and let us know that you already have a place in the event and wish to fundraise for Claire House, raising as much as you can.

Either way, we will send you a Fundraising Pack, which will include your Claire House running top, water bottle, sponsorship forms and information about Claire House.

The Claire House Events Team will be here every step of the way to support you as you train and fundraise for the hugely popular Tokyo Marathon.
