Hospice Cook (Band 3)
Part time – 22.5 hours per week (over 3 days, including weekends)
Location: Wirral Hospice
We are seeking a warm, flexible and motivated Part Time Hospice Cook to join our catering team. Working alongside our Head Cook, you will plan, prepare and serve high‑quality, nutritious meals for children, families, staff and visitors, including catering for special dietary requirements.
You will play a key role in maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and health and safety, while adapting to the changing needs of a busy and caring hospice environment.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys cooking with purpose, working as part of a supportive team, and contributing to a service that genuinely matters.

- Experience of preparing fresh, nutritious meals in a professional kitchen
- A flexible, positive and proactive approach to work
- A good understanding of food hygiene, health and safety standards
- The ability to adapt menus to meet individual dietary needs
