Volunteer Cash Counter

Are you a whizz with numbers? Love being organised? Want to make a real difference in just a couple of hours a week?

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help count and record cash donations that support seriously and terminally ill children and their families. This is a great opportunity to be part of something meaningful while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and friendly environment.

🕒 When?

Mondays, for 1–2 hours between 9am–5pm (depending on how much cash needs counting)

📍 Where?

Claire House Children's Hospice (Fundraising Building), Clatterbridge Road, Bebington, Wirral,CH63 4JD

💼 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Counting and recording cash donations from collection buckets and tins
• Using specialised counting equipment (we’ll show you how!)
• Working in pairs in a safe, quiet space
• Making sure donation totals are accurate so our amazing supporters get the right thank you

• Good with numbers and detail
• Friendly, reliable, trustworthy and a team player
• Comfortable working with cash and using your initiative
