Volunteer Retail Assistant - Ellesmere Port Superstore

Our Ellesmere Port Home & Furniture Store specialises in household items and furniture, including lamps, electrical items, home accessories, and some amazing pre-loved treasures. We're looking for volunteers to join our friendly team and help bring these items to life before they reach the shop floor.

Stock Preparation VolunteersHelp prepare donated items ready for sale by cleaning, polishing, dusting, steaming, and presenting stock so it's looking its very best. If you enjoy being hands-on and love transforming items with a little care and attention, we'd love to hear from you.

Shop Floor & Customer Support VolunteersAssist with creating attractive displays, helping customers find what they're looking for, processing purchases, and supporting the day-to-day running of the store. There may also be some light moving and arranging of furniture on the shop floor. Full training will be provided.

Whether you're looking to meet new people, build confidence, gain retail experience, learn new skills, or simply give something back to your local community, we'd love to welcome you on board.

You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, with opportunities to use your existing skills while developing new ones along the way.

By volunteering, even just a few hours a week or month, you'll be helping to support the children and families cared for by Claire House, making a real difference while becoming an important part of your local community.
