Volunteer Claire Bear

Love meeting new people and making a difference? As a Claire Bear Ambassador, you will be the star—dressing up as Claire Bear and bringing smiles to nurseries, schools, and groups across the community!

You’ll be supported by a friendly volunteer or staff member who will help you get in and out of the suit (it’s tricky to see out of the head!), guide you around, and assist with chatting to supporters and answering basic questions about Claire House. No need for formal talks—just lots of fun, friendly interaction!

This flexible, ad-hoc role fits around your schedule, with all training, support, and travel expenses provided. You don’t need public speaking experience—just a warm, enthusiastic personality and a love of spreading joy.

If you can drive and have access to a vehicle, that’s a bonus for getting to different locations. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a great team, helping to raise awareness and bring happiness to our local community.
