Help Shape the Future of Claire House Services

We are looking for service users, parents and carers to join our new Family Advisory Board.

The Family Advisory Board will bring together families who have experience of Claire House services and who are passionate about helping us improve and develop the support we provide to babies, children, young people and families.

We are keen to hear from people with a wide range of experiences, including:

• Respite care (current or previous users)
• End-of-life care
• Perinatal care
• Young adult and transition services
• Wellbeing and Therapies services (e.g. counselling, psychology, complementary therapies)
• Butterfly support
• Siblings support
• Other Claire House services

As a member of the Family Advisory Board, you will:

• Share your experiences and perspectives
• Help influence future developments and improvements
• Ensure family voices remain at the heart of our decision-making
• Work alongside staff and other families to shape hospice services
• Be provided with support and training to develop the role

Together, we can ensure the voices of babies, children, young people and families continue to shape the future of Claire House.

What is involved?

• 4 meetings per year
• Meetings lasting approximately 2–3 hours
• Opportunities to contribute between meetings if you wish
• An initial commitment of one year

We are looking for around 8–10 members to join the board initially. If we receive a high level of interest, we may invite applicants to a short informal conversation to help us create a group that reflects the diversity of families who use our services.

If you would like more information, we are hosting informal Coffee & Cake Information Sessions drop-in where you can ask questions and meet members of the team before deciding whether to apply. The sessions will be held at the following times:

• Thursday 2^nd July (2-4) at Claire House Liverpool
• Thursday 15^th July at Claire House Wirral
