Occassionaly, we contact our supporters by phone. Read on to learn more about the details of our telephone fundraising. 

Why do we run our telephone fundraising campaigns?

We arrange these calls to provide supporters with updates about our work and the positive impact your donations have. These calls also help us raise essential funds for Claire House, allowing us to continue supporting seriously ill children and their families. 

Who makes these calls? 

We don't have the resources to make these calls ourselves, so we use a professional telephone fundraising agency called QTS fundraising. QTS are based in the UK collaborating with over 80 charities on a range of local, national and global campaigns.

How to know it's a genuine call from Claire House?

QTS will always call you from the number 0151 459 1993. 

What to do if you've been called and don't want a call back? 

When the above number is called back you will hear the following recorded message

Thank you for calling QTS Fundraising we were trying to contact you on behalf of Claire House Children’s Hospice. Sorry we have missed you and will contact you again in a couple of days' time. If you do not wish to be contacted, for this campaign, please leave your name and telephone number after the beep.

On leaving a message, QTS Fundraising will remove you from the list of people being called for this campaign. 

When and how often will we call? 

You will only get calls on behalf of Claire House between 10am to 8:30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 5:30pm on Saturdays. You will never receive a call on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday or Easter Monday. 

How much does Claire House pay its telephone fundraising agency? 

The costs for using the telephone fundraising agency vary depending on the type of call being made but we only pay for completed calls. Rest assured that telephone fundraising allows us to raise more money to help seriously ill children and their families. 

Do we record calls? 

Yes, we record every call and keep the recordings for one year. This allows us to monitor the calls made by the agency and investigate any concerns raised. We also actively provide feedback to all the fundraisers making the calls, so you have the most up to date information about Claire House.

How we keep your details safe

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and we take your privacy very seriously. To ensure the safety of your data, we only use secure and encrypted methods of data transfer between the agency and Claire House. Your data is only held by the agency for as long as the fundraising campaign on which you have been called.
