People Coordinator - 12 Months Fixed Term

At Claire House, we help seriously and terminally ill babies, children and young people live life to the fullest. Behind the care and support we provide is a dedicated team of people, and our People Team plays an important part in helping colleagues be their best at work.

We are looking for an organised, approachable and experienced People Coordinator to provide practical HR advice and high-quality coordination across Claire House. This is a varied role where you will support managers and employees, coordinate recruitment and payroll activity, maintain accurate people records and lead on routine employee relations cases with appropriate support and guidance.

What you'll be doing

Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.

Leading on less complex employee relations cases and supporting them through to resolution.

Coordinating recruitment activity, including safer recruitment checks such as Right to Work, DBS and professional registration checks.

Preparing contracts, new starter paperwork and onboarding information, and supporting induction processes.

Maintaining accurate and confidential employee information within the Select HR system.

Supporting HR training, People Team projects and the day-to-day administration of a busy HR service.

About you

You'll enjoy working in a role where accuracy, organisation and good judgement matter. You will be confident building positive working relationships and providing clear, practical support to colleagues at all levels. You will join a supportive team and have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation where children, young people and families are at the heart of everything we do.

If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you. Please read the full job description and person specification before applying.
