The King’s Coronation is due to be a wonderful celebration for the country. Whether you’re looking for some activities for the long weekend or fancy doing some good for your local community, the Coronation is a great time to do something to help Claire House!

Take a collection bucket along to a party

Attending or holding a street party, or gathering family and friends together to celebrate? Why not take along one of our collection tins or buckets and ask for a small donation to help raise funds for Claire House.

Get in touch with our fundraising team on 0151 343 0883 or fundraising@clairehouse.org.uk to organise collecting a bucket.

Best crown competition

A fun one for the kids – and maybe even the adults! You could plan a competition to design the best crown and ask for a small donation for entries – maybe even design a crown for Claire Bear to wear to her own party!

Bake Sale

Bring your friends and family together for a cup of tea and sell some cakes. What about some coronation themed cupcakes or even a crown cake?

The big help out

As part of the King’s Coronation, and The Big Help Out, some of our Claire House charity shops are offering one-off volunteer sessions to their local communities during the Coronation festivities, including the bank holiday weekend. Whether you’re looking to give something back, are passionate about sustainability, or have always wondered what it might be like to volunteer in one of our lovely shops, then this is a great opportunity to get involved. By volunteering in our shops you can make a huge difference, within a short amount of time, so it is totally worth giving it a go.

If you are interested, please either pop into your local shop, to arrange your session, or get in touch via e-mail volunteering@clairehouse.org.uk or call 0151 343 0883.
