Venue Delamere Forest
To Celebrate the end of the school year, Claire House are organising our first ever Hero Hike. a 3k sponsored walk walk in Delamere forest.
Every child taking part will have a lanyard with an activity pack inside. Whilst walking around the forest, they will discover animals and their habitats, linking to the Key Stage 2 curriculum for Science.
They will also be accompanied by a Claire House member of staff, to chat to them about what the Hospice does.
There will be an events village set up at the start and finish, and a large area where schools can set up and eat their lunches.
We are working in partnership with Delamere Forest, who will be helping us to organise and facilitate the walk.

- There will be entertainment at the end of the walk before schools depart.
Sponsorship Package
We expect our Hero Hike to become an annual event for schools.
We are looking for a corporate sponsor to come on this journey with us and support the event from the beginning.
There will be opportunities to be included on all event marketing materials, social media messaging and have a presence on the day, either with a volunteer team, or a stall in the event village.
The sponsorship will cover costs for the event, ensuring that we can raise even more net profit for the charity.
