Schools and Colleges

We have amazing support from our local schools – so we want to support our local schools too!
We have loads of free resources for schools and young people to download and we can visit your school to talk about the hospice, careers, volunteering and more!

If fundraising is your thing, get started with our School fundraising pack or why not take a look at our events.

Assemblies and Workshops

We would be delighted to visit your school for an assembly or workshop to tell you more about Claire House and what we do for local children and families.

Our assemblies and workshops are focused on the bright side of Claire House and are always age appropriate. We would love to come and see you all.

We can tailor assemblies to all ages! Whether it’s a visit from our mascot Claire Bear or chat about volunteering opportunities, we’ve got an assembly to suit your school.

Our classroom-based workshops are interactive and can be anything from 20 – 45 minutes long. Learn about how Claire House started, take part in an empathy themed activity and practice some Makaton, which we use in the hospice.

All our assemblies and workshops are free!
